 INSIDE WINCHESTER was originally published as a booklet in 1985 by the League of Women Voters, Winchester, Massachusetts.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization. Its purpose is to promote political responsibility through active and informed participation in government. The League offers information on voting procedures, on the functioning of government and on legislative procedures. It provides the public with facts about candidates for elective office. Membership is open to all citizens of voting age who support the purposes and policies of the League.
